The sun was rising lazily over the courtyard of Autumn’s Gate as Tel busied herself about Honeysuckle’s stall, removing the horse’s tack and brushing the mare down after their morning ride. Malacath and Wurfles had joined them in their casual rove about the Rift and now sat panting happily, Malacath flopped atop his favorite boulder and Wurfles lying sprawled out beside it. Tel regarded her pack with a little smile as she filled Honeysuckle’s trough with feed and gave the mare a fond pat before turning to head back inside.
